Abstract.
This paper presents the results of tests on polyamide cod codend selectivity. The tests were focused on standard cod codends made of polyamide with 120 mm mesh size and cod codends with selective windows with 105 mm mesh size. During the research the alternate haul method was applied. In alternative hauls trawls fitted with cod codends with an 20 mm mesh bar insert were used. The selectivity results were computed using a specially prepared computer program. The selectivity parameters of cod codends are presented in table and graph form.
