We congratulate Katarzyna Nadolna-Ałtyn, M. Sc. on defending her doctoral dissertation with an honourable mention. The title of the dissertation was: Host-parasite interactions as indicators in biomonitoring of the Baltic Sea environment.
The examination took place at the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography of the University of Gdańsk on 20th November 2015. It was the first doctoral dissertation prepared in the form of a thematically consistent collection of articles published in the scientific periodicals of the ISI Master Journal List in the history of the department. The dissertation was supervised by Dr. Magdalena Podolska, a NMFRI associate professor and reviewed by Dr. Janina Dziekońska-Rynko, an associate professor of the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and by Dr. Jolanta Morozińska-Gogol, an associate professor of the Pomeranian Academy in Słupsk.
