NMFRI Honoured During the 50th Anniversary Celebration of the Society of Gdynia Enthusiasts

On 5 May, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Society of Gdynia Enthusiasts at the Konsulat Kultury in Gdynia. The event had a very ceremonial character and brought together representatives of local government, numerous institutions and social organisations, as well as members and supporters of the Society.

During the celebration, the history of the organisation and the long list of community initiatives undertaken by its members over the years were presented. The ceremony also included the presentation of commemorative statuettes awarded by the Society of Gdynia Enthusiasts. The awards were presented to the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the Mayor of Gdynia, the Gdynia City Council, and our Institute, as “an expression of appreciation for supporting the Society’s activities and contributing to the development of the city and the region.”

Being included among such distinguished award recipients is a great honour for our Institute. Once again, we congratulate the Society on its jubilee and wish it many more years of fruitful work for the benefit of Gdynia and its residents!
