Invitation to a lecture – “Why are fish getting smaller? Conclusions from an optimal resource allocation model”

INVITATION

We are pleased to invite you to a lecture by Prof. Jan Kozłowski entitled:

“Why are fish getting smaller? Conclusions from an optimal resource allocation model”

Prof. Jan Kozłowski, an evolutionary biologist from Jagiellonian University and a member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, has published an article in the prestigious journal Science. The study demonstrates that climate change and intensive fishing not only affect fish populations in an ecological sense, but also trigger evolutionary processes that may limit future global fisheries yields.
