On 30 December 2024, a special event was held at the NMFRI Gdynia Aquarium to summarise the strategic operation entitled ‘Data collection for fisheries management 2022-2024’.
During the official part of the event, those interested could learn about the European Funds from the perspective of the Managing Authority (the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), and the Intermediate Body (the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture), the scope and significance of the Multi-Annual Fisheries Data Collection Programme, as well as the collection of bi-environmental fish or socio-economic data in the context of marine fisheries, fish processing and aquaculture.
After listening to the speakers and a short discussion, there was a tour of our zoo. The event attracted a large number of local residents, as a total of more than 600 people visited the Aquarium’s exhibition that day for the duration of the event.
We would like to thank all the guests for coming, the speakers for their extremely interesting lectures, and our colleagues from the Gdynia Aquarium for the opportunity to visit the exhibition with substantial commentary.
