Last Friday, 21 March 2025, an awards ceremony was held in Warsaw, during which the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development presented awards and honours for achievements in the implementation of progress in agriculture, rural development, agricultural markets and fisheries. The meeting was attended by representatives of research institutes supervised by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

We are pleased to announce that the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute has been awarded a distinction for the project ‘Development of innovative methods of modified atmosphere packaging of selected fish product ranges under production conditions’, led by Dr. Bogusław Pawlikowski.
The awards were presented to the winners by the Minister of Regional Development and Construction, Czesław Siekierski, and the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Maria Mrówczyńska.
On behalf of the team, the Minister presented the award to the Deputy Director for Scientific Affairs, Dr.Eng. Joanna Szlinder-Richert, Prof. NMFRI.
