On 8–10 May 2025, the Poznań International Fair hosted the European Congress on Rural Renewal and Development. The event was organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in cooperation with the Local Government of the Greater Poland Voivodeship.
The National Marine Fisheries Research Institute had the honour of participating in this prestigious event as one of the exhibitors. Our Institute had a joint stand organised in cooperation with other research institutes. The exhibition attracted a lot of interest from congress participants, including representatives of government and local authorities, scientific institutions, non-governmental organisations and rural residents from all over Europe.
Delegates from our Institute actively participated in thematic sessions, discussion panels and networking meetings, sharing their experience in the field of sustainable development of coastal areas, protection of fishery resources and innovation in the fisheries sector.
Participation in the congress was an excellent opportunity to present our research results, establish new contacts and exchange knowledge and good practices for the development of rural and coastal areas.
