The recruitment process for the post-doc position at the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology of NMFRI resulted in the selection of Dr. Aleksandar Stanojković, who scored the highest number of points and met both formal and substantive requirements.

As a result of the recruitment process for the position of Fellow in the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology of NMFRI, Ms. Marlena Mordec was selected, who scored the highest number of points and met both formal and substantive requirements.

As a result of the recruitment process for the position of Fellow at the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology of NMFRI, Ms. Klaudia Wdówka was selected, who scored the highest number of points and met both formal and substantive requirements.

Result: Two candidates with the highest scores were selected in the recruitment process: Ms. Magdalena Socha and Mr. Jared Vincent Lacaran

Regards: Competition for post-doc position in NCN WEAVE-UNISONO project

As a result of the recruitment process for the post-doc position in the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology of NMFRI, Dr. Sohrab Khan was selected, having scored the highest number of points and having met both formal and substantive requirements.

Regards: Post-doc position in an NCN-funded project WEAVE-UNISONO

Result: The highest score was awarded to Mr Samuel Eziuzor, who was the only candidate with experience of working on marine microorganisms.

As a result of the recruitment procedure for the position of a senior scientist at the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology and the position of an assistant at the Department of Fisheries Oceanography and Marine Ecology, Dr. Magdalena Jakubowska and Martyna Greszkiewicz, M.Sc. were selected as candidates, respectively. Both candidates obtained the highest number of points and met all mandatory requirements.

On 05.12.2018, the Grants Committee reviewed applications for the NCN Research Fellowship in the project “Distribution, transformation and transport of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the coastal zone atmosphere – clustering methods and congener profile analysis in assessing the contribution of emission sources and the influence of meteorological factors.”

The scientific scholarship was awarded to the candidate with the highest number of points.

The winner was Kinga Wiśniewska, M.Sc.

The Competition Commission appointed to settle the competition  for a paid scientific internship within the “The Blue Baltic – BONUS-185” programme BONUS MICROPOLL project “Multilevel assessment of microplastics and associated pollutants in the Baltic Sea” announces that as a result of the competition procedures for the above position Mr. Marcin Białowąs was selected. The Candidate is a graduate of Fisheries at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. He was a trainee and technical engineering specialist at the Stanisław Sakowicz Inland Fisheries Institute in Olsztyn. He has professional experience in the field of ichthyology.

The Competition Commission appointed to settle the competition for the position of a Senior Scientist at the NMFRI Department of Fisheries Resources announces that as a result of the competition procedures for the above position Dr. Katarzyna Nadolna-Ałtyn was selected. The Candidate met all the requirements and criteria indicated in the call of the competition. She has, among others, experience and skills in research activity in the field of ichthyology and parasitology, participates in international working and expert groups connected with this subject matter. She is the author of articles found in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR)). Her achievements include also active participation in national and international conferences and symposia, as well as experience in research cruises.

The Competition Commission appointed to settle the competition for the position of an Assistant at the NMFRI Department of Fisheries Resources announces that as a result of the competition procedures for the above position Anna Luzeńczyk, M.Sc. was selected. The Candidate met all the requirements and criteria indicated in the call of the competition. She has, among others, experience in fisheries resources management, participated in research projects, working and expert groups in this field. She is the author of reports, expertise and articles found in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR)). Her achievements include also active participation in national and international conferences and symposia.

The Competition Commission appointed to settle the competition for the position of a senior scientist at the NMFRI Department of Food and Environmental Chemistry announces that as a result of the competition procedures for the above position Dr. Patrycja Siudek was selected. The Candidate met all the requirements and criteria indicated in the call of the competition. She has, among others, experience in trace chemical analysis and experience in self-raising and managing of research projects.
