invites to a workshop
on Future Production System Design
DATE: The workshop will take place on 3rd May 2024 (Friday) and starts at 10:30.
FORMAT AND LOCATION: The workshop will be held in a hybrid format: in person at Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ashtown, Dublin 15 with the option to join remotely (the link will be emailed to you in advance).
The workshop will be carried out within the framework of the IMPRESS project: „Innovative approaches for marine and freshwater based ingredients to develop sustainable foods and value chains”, co-funded by Horizon Europe (Project number 101084437).
SCOPE: The workshop will involve discussions on:
- underutilised fish resources (low-trophic fish stocks, underexploited or exploited for non-food purposes, fish processing by-products),
- new concepts for the management of these resources (new food concepts),
- new ingredients for food production,
- opportunities and barriers for the market introduction of new products.
TIME: The workshop will start at 10:30 a.m. and will last approximately 2 hours.
